It can be done, but major savings are in custom / upgraded glocks. If you start with a Glocks and then replace half or more of it with upgraded, you have now double the cost of that Glocks. Vs starting with P80 and building with custom parts. Now your custom p80 cost 60-75% less then equivalent upgraded Glock does.

Thanks. The 30/21 I printed has a good feel to it. With a dot sight it was shooting well, albeit one round and then cycle the slide. Being partial to the 45 ACP, I think it will be a great EDC pistol. Still wish P80 would do a G30/29 kit. I have built several of theirs, both hand and long.
