Reddit ubiquiti - Mikrotik is pretty easy to use and manage. It has a built in console and a webGUI, or you can use Winbox. Most of the "complexity" is in the initial setup and you can find documentation and scripts to use in the Mikrotik Wiki and other sources. I've been eyeing Ubiquiti myself because they use more modern kernels and allow SQM.

I use firewall rules. I couldn't seem to get the traffic rules to work well for multi Vlan segregation and communication.
